According to Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority, International higher education institutions in Dubai reported huge growth in student numbers. This hike in the number of students is due to several reasons which are shared below.

As reported by the authorities the growth in international students is 3.6 percent, with more than 29,000 students currently enrolled in university programs. These numbers are reported by the authority of higher education in Dubai.

Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Director General of KHDA, said, “Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a leading international study destination. The growth and diversity in program choices offered by international universities in the emirate, and the sustained growth in international student enrolment highlight Dubai’s ability to consistently deliver high-quality education and builds on our commitment to creating better education choices that offer families and investors new possibilities.” This surge was also felt by Assignment Help Dubai, as the number of students approaching for assignment help is also increased.

Better Choices

The surge in student numbers at international higher education institutions is largely driven by an increase in international students traveling to Dubai for better higher education choices. Dubai is currently home to 34 international higher education institutions that provide more than 600 programs, with one in four students coming from outside the UAE (28 percent).

Business Administration, Computer Science/ Information Technology, and Engineering are the top 3 program choices for students. Information technology received the biggest increase in student enrolments at international universities in UAE in the past five years. Enrolment in IT saw a 5.8 percent increase compared with the 2017/ 2018 academic year, followed by Law and Humanities (1.53 percent). Medical Science also witnessed a 1.51 percent increase in the number of international students in these years.
