There are many different site management systems. There are different opinions among web developers about which CMS is better. I am developing sites on WordPress. In my opinion WordPress is the best engine and is suitable for most sites. And in this post I will try to explain my point of view.

As I already said, this is the most popular system, which means that there will be no problems finding the necessary extensions. For WordPress, there are a huge number of plugins for any need. And new ones appear every day. Most of them are free. At the moment, there are 51,430 plugins on the official website.

Plus, you can find thousands of plugins on third-party sites. It is enough to drive in the phrase “plugins for WordPress” in the search engine

Convenience

The admin panel is intuitive and user-friendly. After I create the design, and the layout designer “pulls” it into WordPress, we give the customer full access to the site management. And in order to change the text, picture or a whole section, people do not need to contact the developers again and pay money to maintain the site. They can do everything on their own. It’s no more difficult than working in Microsoft Word.

Thousands of templates

If you create a website yourself and you do not need a unique design, then choosing a beautiful template will not be difficult.

Templates can be downloaded and installed directly from the admin panel or downloaded from various sites. Most of the templates are free, but there are many premium paid themes available.

Keep in mind that almost all templates need some work. Sometimes minimal and sometimes very substantial. Therefore, I believe that it is much better to create a unique website design immediately for specific tasks. Then the code will be cleaner. And the uniqueness of the site has a positive effect on promotion.

Even the basic functionality of the engine provides initial optimization, and by installing additional plugins, you can qualitatively set up a site for “friendship” with search engines. Google, for example, loves WordPress sites more than any other.

Safety

Like any other platform, WordPress has some vulnerabilities. But since hundreds of interested people around the world are working on it, with each update all the “holes” are closed and WordPress is getting better and more reliable.

Trust me, if your site wants to be hacked, it will get hacked. And it doesn’t matter what engine it runs on.

Output

Whatever fans of other CMS may say, WordPress ranks first in the world in terms of the number of working sites. And that says a lot.
