UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2020 for Assistant Professor & JRF: UGC NET June 2020 Exam will be conducted by NTA to determine the candidate’s eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or for Assistant Professor only posts in Indian Universities and Colleges. UGC NET June 2020 Exam will only be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) from 15th June 2020 to 20th June 2020 in various subjects at selected Exam Centers spread across the country. UGC NET 2020 Syllabus
Candidates can know some important points regarding UGC NET syllabus below:
- The UGC NET exam paper will comprise of two sessions Paper 1 & Paper 2.
- The paper 1 of UGC NET will be general paper on teaching & research aptitude. It will comprise of 50 objective type questions.
- The paper 2 of UGC NET will be of specialization or subject selected by the candidate. It will comprise of 100 objective type questions.
- There are total 84 specialization subjects for UGC NET paper 2.
UGC NET Syllabus 2021
Before downloading the UGC NET syllabus for your subject, let’s understand the distribution of syllabus and marks. For each subject, the syllabus has two parts; one is the Paper-I, and another is the Paper-II.
- Paper-I: General Aptitude (Common for all subjects) – 100 Marks
- Paper-II: Subject Selected by you – 200 Marks

UGC NET Syllabus for Paper 1:
NET syllabus for Paper-I includes 10 different units. The Paper-I consists of 50 questions and you will have 5 questions each carrying 2 marks from each unit.
