Once the computer has finished rebooting, you\u2019ll want to ensure the\noperating system is up-to-date with the latest security patches. In some cases,\nan error could be the result of an out-dated file or program. Windows Update\nshould be on, and configured to automatically update your system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\nhave a hardware device that is playing up, then you should consider turning it\noff then back on. Email Attachments Don\u2019t Open<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If an\nattachment refuses to open, it\u2019s probably because the program you need to open\nit is not present on your computer. What you want to do is carry out a Google\nsearch on the file type, there you should be able to find a number of programs\nthat are designed to open it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Your Wi-Fi Connection Keeps Disconnecting<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An\nintermittent Wi-Fi connection can be pretty difficult to tackle. You need to\nconsider whether it\u2019s your router, computer or ISP. I suggest you contact your\nISP after you\u2019ve exhausted all other options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. System Keeps Restarting<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.compuchenna.co.uk\/windows-keeps-restarting\/\">constant system restarts<\/a> could be the result of a series of Windows Updates, which require your system to reboot. That\u2019s the first thing you\u2019ll want to do, make sure Windows Update is not running; if it is, you\u2019ll just have to be patient. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally,\nyour system may be restarting due to a mechanical problem. Does your computer\nmake unusual sounds? Is your system running hot? If your computer is relatively\nold, then maybe it is in need of dusting. To do that, just follow any computer\nclean-up guide. If you\u2019re still getting problems, then you may want to try a\nmalware scan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once\nyou\u2019ve tried everything, your last option should be to consult a professional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Getting Constant Pop-Ups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If\nyou\u2019re getting a lot of popup ads, even when you\u2019re not surfing the internet,\nthere is a good chance that your system is infected with Adware. These\nparticular programs can be quite difficult to eliminate. You\u2019ll want to run a\nfull malware scan of your system, and carrying out any and all additional\nremoval procedures, if need be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Printer Won\u2019t Print<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Assuming\nthat your printer\u2019s drivers are actually up-to-date, and that there\u2019s enough\nink in it, and you have paper. Then you\u2019ll want to begin by turning the printer\noff and back on again. Then try unplugging it, then plugging it back in. Take a\nlook at the print queue; you should be able to find this information in the\nsame area as the Print Status. Here, you should be able to determine the\ncurrent situation of your printer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\nwant to ensure that your printer isn\u2019t configured to <strong>Use Printer Offline<\/strong>. Sometimes, if you attempt to print something,\nwhile the printer is switched off, it can cause the operating system to set\nyour printer to work offline, this invariably leads to stalled print jobs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Programs Won\u2019t Run<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Before\nyou decide to consult a professional, the first thing you should do is make\nsure the software you\u2019re trying to run is compatible with your operating\nsystem. Older programs may not work on the latest operating systems, such as\nWindows 8, a program created for Mac OS X will not work on a Windows based\nsystem. 32-bit programs will work on 64-bit operating systems, but the other\nway round, does not work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If an\nonline game crashes, it\u2019s probably because you\u2019re missing a required add-on or\nupdate. Most browsers will notify you, if you need to update it or any\nthird-party plugins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Constant Security Warnings While Surfing<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While this can prove to be a very annoying issue, fixing it has proven to be quite simple. All you need to do is ensure that your Windows clock is correct, along with the date.
