It is the current offering of mutual fund schemes includes\n85 equity, 297 debts, and 63 balanced funds. The company is led by its CEO\nNimesh Shah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n<a href=\"https:\/\/customer.gulaq.com\/mutual-fund\/icici-prudential-value-discovery-fund-direct-plan-growth\"><strong>ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund<\/strong><\/a> is one of a handful of funds that follow value-based investment\napproaches. The fund was launched on 16 August 2004 and had the highest AUM of\nRs 16,185 crore in the category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\nper the SEBI mandate, value funds should follow a value investment strategy and\ninvest a minimum of 65% of the total assets in equity and equity-related\ninstruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nfund is managed by Mr. Mrinal Singh, who has been involved in the scheme since\nFebruary 2011, while Ms. Priyanka Khandelwal oversees the fund&#8217;s foreign\ninvestment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The objective of ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\ninvestment goal of the scheme is primarily to generate returns by investing in\na well-diversified stock portfolio with dividend income and appreciation of\ncapital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We can understand with an example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If\nyou had invested Rs 10,000 in ICICI Prudential Interest Discovery Fund on 06\nAugust 2013, it would have been Rs 15,476 by 06 August 2018. The amount of SIP to\ninvest in this scheme is around \u20b9100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To\ncater to the needs of investors, the ICICI prudential value discovery fund\nscheme offers an opportunity to invest in leading companies at a discounted\nrate. The fund promotes the principle of value investing and recognizes their\nfair value over the long term and buys stocks with high growth potential at\nlower prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nICICI Value Discovery Growth Fund aims to find the most favorable stocks that\nare priced below their history and capable of generate higher yields. With\nthis, ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund invests in these securities and\ncreates a portfolio that is weighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nscheme seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing\npredominantly in a well-diversified portfolio of select companies based on\nvalue-investment criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nscheme proposes to carefully deposit a portfolio of stocks, which are available\nat a discount to its intrinsic value through a process of &#8216;discovery.&#8217; The\ndiscovery process involves identifying stocks that have attractive <a href=\"http:\/\/urstoryiq.com\/the-best-type-of-equity-mutual-fund-to-invest-in-now-for-the-medium-term\/\">valuations about\nearnings<\/a> or book value or current and\nfuture dividends and are available at a price that may be called bargaining.\n\nConclusion: Compared to various strategies in its\ngroup, this ICICI Pru Value Discovery Fund growth scheme value is significantly\nhigher.
