· Initial Step – Receive The Energy

To start the Reiki practice, you need to activate the energy within your body. First, close your eyes, stay calm, and take a deep breath. Visualise a scenario wherein a white light is flowing from the top of your head right into your heart and sense it through your arms and hands.

Once you start feeling the energy, continue to take a few rounds of breath and imagine yourself in a tranquil place, and set an intention to bring in positivity

· Reiki for Stress

In today’s busy lifestyle, it is common to feel stressed at times and if it isn’t healed, it may get worse. EFT and mindfulness is the best way to channel energy into your body and calm your body’s meridian points to regain happiness.

Simply, place your hands on shoulders for 10-15 minutes, concentrate on sending energy into the entire body, and breathe deeply to stimulate your senses. It is helpful to stay on the same spot if there is any pain in a particular area until you feel calm and relaxed.

· Reiki for Sleep

You can easily get a sleep-focused Reiki treatment at home to clear your mind and give a perfect end to your day. Simply lie down while you position yourself near someone’s head and imagine a healing light passing all the way to the back of your head to eliminate discomfort. Now take a few deep breaths and slowly inhale for 3 seconds and exhale for 5 seconds.

Imagine that you are channeling the energy through your palm and sending the positive light into the whole body. Continue to move your hands through the specific hand placements. It usually takes 20-30 minutes to heal and relax your body for a peaceful night’s sleep.
